Pittsburgh O-shot for Women

A non-invasive treatment to alleviate female urinary incontinence & sexual disfunction

OShot Logo

Aesthetic Skin & Laser Center is happy to announce the O-Shot (yes, “O” stands for orgasm), a new injection treatment available for women suffering from sexual dysfunction and a range of medical issues stemming from childbirth and menopause.

The non-surgical treatment uses the client’s own blood to create Platelet Rich Plasma, or PRP. This plasma is rich with powerful growth factors that invigorate your stem cells, promoting a number of cell-regenerating benefits, including increased blood flow and the growth of healthy tissue.

What Medical Issues Does the O-Shot Treat?

The O-Shot treats several conditions related to menopause and childbirth, including postpartum and urinary incontinence, chronic pain from childbirth, natural dryness, chronic skin inflammation, and more.

O-Shot® Benefits

You may experience:

  • Decreased or resolved leaky bladder or overactive bladder
  • Increased vaginal lubrication
  • Increased ability to have vaginal orgasms
  • Stronger and more frequent orgasms
  • A tighter, more elastic vaginal canal
  • Decreased or completely resolved pain during sex
  • Younger, smoother external vaginal skin (lips of the vagina)

How is the O-Shot Treatment Administered?

Dr. Barad and ASLC’s fully licensed aestheticians draw a blood sample from your arm. The sample is then placed in a centrifuge, which produces the Platelet Rich Plasma. A powerful numbing cream is then applied to the vaginal area, and the PRP is carefully injected, providing a pain-free experience. ASLC has been fully certified to perform the procedure, which takes approximately 60 minutes.

Does the O-Shot Have Any Side Effects?

Possible side effects are only those typical to any type of injection, like minor bleeding or bruising at the injection site, and rarely, infection.

What Can I Expect After I Receive the O-Shot Treatment?

Immediately after treatment, you are free to drive yourself and resume your daily activities. Benefits are typically noticed within days of the treatment.

*Some women may not respond to the O-Shot—or may not be candidates if they have poor platelet function. More than one treatment may be required to reach optimal results for you depending on your initial evaluation.
