You will be numbed topically, but may feel some heat and pressure. The treatment is tolerable. Rarely, some people require injection numbing. Some may want to use laughing gas for the procedure. Your provider will work with you to maximize your comfort level.

The treatment time varies depending on the areas being treated. A treatment could take as little as 30 minutes and up to an hour. Your physician will discuss your goals, which will determine the length and number of treatments you will need. Everyone generally sees results after just one treatment – and results improve over 3 - 6 months as new collagen and elastin builds!

There is initial redness and swelling which substantially subsides after 24-36 hours, but can take up to a week to completely resolve. Most people resume normal activities within 24 hours.

You can expect to see some changes within a day or two after the procedure. However, your body will continue to build collagen and elastin for 3 – 6 months after the procedure, so you will see continuing improvement over this time.

Unlike many other procedures, this has long-lasting results, as it is your skin is rejuvenated from the inside out.
