Natural Rejuvenation with Radiesse
Radiesse is composed of calcium hydroxyapatite, which is a well-established collagen stimulator. The unique properties of this filler is that it can be used for both volumizing the face and biostimulation of the production of new collagen and elastin in skin. Biostimulation improves skin quality and firmness of the face and body.
When Radiesse is hyperdiluted, it can be used to reduce fine lines, crepiness, and skin laxity, enhancing skin texture and tone on the face, neck, décolletage, buttocks, thighs, arms, abdomen, knees, and elbows. One to three treatment sessions one month apart may be needed in the first year to achieve optimal aesthetic effects, with single maintenance treatments every 12 – 18 months.
There is some immediate correction, but the bulk of the enhancement occurs gradually over 1 – 12 months. Skin improvement occurs through new collagen and elastin production, new blood vessels to support the new tissue, and cell proliferation in the deeper layers of the skin. This results in tighter and more elastic and pliable skin, as well as increased skin thickness. The result is a significant qualitative improvement that can last over18 months.
