First, one of our licensed aestheticians draws a small amount of your blood, just like at the doctor’s office. It is then placed in a centrifuge, which isolates the platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Once the topical numbing agent placed on your skin takes effect, the microneedling process can begin. A microneedling device is used to create tiny punctures in your skin, which triggers collagen and elastin production. After microneedling, the PRP is applied to the skin, where it penetrates the deeper layers through the microchannels. The growth factors in PRP accelerate the skin’s natural healing, promoting regeneration. Over time, your skin becomes smoother, firmer, and more radiant. The vast majority of patients report nothing more than a mild tickling or pinching sensation, and in approximately 30 minutes, the process is complete!
